Abstract: Annona muricata is a member of the Annonaceae family and is a fruit tree with a long history of traditional use. A. muricata, also known as soursop, graviola and guanabana, is an evergreen plant that is mostly distributed in tropical and subtropical regions of the world.
The plants that are the object of this study belong to the Annonaceae family, which presents approximately 110 genera and 2400 species (Chatrou et al., 2012), however, it has only four species.
